    Thumbs up Saving Mindanao!

... and rightly so! Because the Philippines' LARGE, southernmost island has - I'm given to understand - ALWAYS been rich in terms of its bountiful natural resources.

There follows ... an interesting article from the renowned 'Manila Standard' journalist, JoJo Robles:

Hyperbole and a filler article for the Manila Standard. Nothing will change in Mindanao in the foreseeable future. I actually phoned 2 separate people in Mindanao this very morning, one is in charge of over a hundred million pesos of foreign aid for Mindanao. There's been much, much more than that fed into the place for road projects, farmer aid...etc....etc....etc. The horror stories I am told from people actually on the ground could fill a book. Nothing is going to change for years.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
