Absolute chaos on the roads today

Absolute chaos today on the roads , fancy leaving your place of work and you are going down the motorway and suddenly its slowing down then it comes to a complete stop and yes you are between junctions too so there is no escape .
Ok you think it will not be long its 8.17am so what is the rush, well after waiting and waiting and more waiting you start to move again and what is the time 16.26pm.
Yes just over 8 hours stuck on the M1 in the same spot was one of our drivers , poor bugger.

I am betting it was a box that fell of a lorry with some sort of a hazardous chemical inside, something just like we carry everyday on our vehicles.
If this is the case god help the company that did carry that and let it fall of the back of the vehicle .

Looks like i was right in my thoughts, just up the road there is a depot that holds and sends out load of chemicals each night to different parts of the country, just have to find out what cartons are missing fro that load that morning.

I used to work with hydrochloric acid, nasty stuff.... For a laugh, and not recommended. We used to mix a gallon of hydrochloric with a gallon of ammonia. The smell wasn't pleasant, but it beats any smoke machine you'll ever see!
