    Air China

Flights from Heathrow to Manila from £307 return https://www.airchina.co.uk/GB/GB/Home mid january onwards, this could well suit me as i need an onward flight, though i may not be going onwards

Can't grumble at that price although I think the flight gets in at Manila at stupid o'clock. Could have flown with them last time out for about £325 but because of the reason above, I went with another airline @ £50 extra.

Yeah It gets in at 23-40, but at least the Traffic round and about has eased off by then, Im thinking maybe head for a Bus Terminal get where i want to go, then crash out for 12 hours or so.

That's not too bad. When I looked into flying with Air China the time of arrival in Manila was around 3am.

Only problem with cheap air china flights is your probably going to have a lengthy layover in some mainland Chinese airport, that adds to the jetlag,i have just been looking at flights to easter island that are 48 hours, not looking forward to that.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

I was looking at flight prices on PIC and Skyscanner and practically every other airline is £500+, even for next year - but maybe the offers will appear after Xmas.

The flight duration between London and Manila (via Beijing I think it is) with Air China are usually between 18 and 21 hours according to Skyscanner.

Can't you hang out in Santiago before going to Easter Island?

Doesn't bother me what time I arrive in Manila. Buses run more or less 24 hours anyway... and your body clock is already screwed up. Sitting in cafes, bus stations, etc is cheap too.

It's more important what time I leave and arrive back in the UK, so I can get (our much lousier and dearer) transport from and to my village here in the wilds of North Yorkshire.
