having watched someone die slowly in a hospiceyet my dogs at the end of life were given pentobarbital by a vet which ended their suffering in seconds.
going back to how drugs effect people differently, the last dog I had to have put down took 30 seconds and 3 of us to hold down before she died , I swore I would never get a dog again
yet the misses has got 2 from the dogs home
