Friend of mine was intoxicated, went for a swim and, according to his wife, died on the beach when they dragged him out of the water. Heart attack. She had him cremated and brought his ashes back to the UK, collected his insurance and went back to the PI. I think I mentioned it when I first joined this forum. She didn't seem overly sad, I always thought her incredibly cold hearted at the time ..............................

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

No, never saw him again, nor her. I know for a fact he was ever so slightly dodgy though

You might bump into them one day. Wouldn't that be surreal?

I don't think so, Angeles City isn't for me. I actually met him down in Mindanao sailing a yacht, but he resided in Angeles. 10+ years ago he died.

    He's dead?

Going by his past history, I wouldn't believe that story.

At the time I did actually have doubts about his wife's story as it was sudden, very sudden! I even went to a church service for him here organised by his British family, his dad, sisters, brother, etc. His ashes were there - or somebody's.
