Sending letter to be picked up in post office in Manila (Poste Restante)

    Hello ,
I need to send a letter to a person who is in Manila now, but she doesn't have a postal address where she can receive the letter.

So I would like to send the letter to a post office and then she will be able to pick up the letter from them.

This service is also known as Poste Restante: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poste_restante

Do you know if there is a service like that in Manila?

    Thank you

It's not available in the Philippines. Why won't she have a mail address? Just send it straight to her home address. It's just a letter.

Send her an e-mail. I assume you're in contact. If it's documents scan and e-mail. If she has no abode and is sleeping on the streets, a family member's address will suffice.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Haha, ok, thank you for all your advices..

It's a gift, I can't scan or send it by email.. The value is very little anyway (so it's not a big problem if doesn't arrive).
But I can't send it to her mail address (oh, don't ask me to explain why is that.. ).

I was looking at LBC (http://www.lbcexpress.com/) now.
Anyone have ever used this? Do you know if they have that kind of service?

Yep, that's what most of us here use, LBC.

Weird that she won't want it to be sent to her address..

What about LBC? Do you know how it could cost to send a letter from Dublin (Ireland)? (If it's more than 5€ maybe is not worth it..).

Sounds a bit odd to me, no address ... traveling in the Philippines....

If it smells like a rat and looks like a rat... it’s normally a rat.

Ok, thank you to all of you for your help.

I'll try to contact LBC now and see how much it costs.

    Cheers,

Well, even in Phils most people have an address to forward things to. I assume she lives somewhere. While its not up to us to comment on your friendship/relationship, I would be a little wary going forward.
