First its a B and B now its a hairdresser i hope the people asking don't get turned down for a job due to who they are

I read a post or email from somewhere about a place in charing cross.

Of course you could jump on the district line at embankment and go to Earls court where there is one on the high street just passed KFC and Kenway and hogarth road where the 3 phill minimarkets and three cafes are well on friday they were there. The bakery i asked badboy about ages back has opened and offering fillipino breakfasts now amongst other things.

I have no idea or of how good or how much they cost.

The Wife just uses a very good Hairdresser near where she works, very nice job they do to. Most Hairdresser in london will be trained used to cut various nationality and races types of hair, otherwise they would be out of business.

not being a racist......thats a bit too strong keith!

if i go in supercuts and demand a filipino hairdresser that might be racism, but preferring one before actually getting out my house and spending my money is not being a racist on my books.

everyone have their choices and that does not mean they are being racists!

a lot of other filipinas i know prefer having their hair done by filipinos and they are not racists neither.

to those who have found good non-filipino hairdressers you are lucky. been here almost a year and i would honestly say that i have not been in a salon for a hair cut and left happy. different salons, different nationalities working on them. i want a filipino hairdresser this time and its not too much to ask. its not like i can have another bad haircut today and my hair grows back tom!

But without geting to serious, just out of intrest how can you be sure a Filipino or filipina hairdresser in the Uk will do any better?

I know nothing about hairdressing (a grade two short back n sides every month is far as i go) but surely some very high quality hairdressers work in london due to the fact it is at the moment one of the "happening" cities are they all worse than any random filipino hairdresser?

i never said filipino hairdressers are better only that they have never failed me before.

ive paid for top dollars for haircut that never really suited me. not because its expensive it would be nice or it would suit your face, personality, etc.

there is such a thing as "hiyang", i dont know how to say it in english, best ask your wife as she may be able to explain it to you. and hiyang is how my hair felt with filipino hairdressers!
