    BEFORE You "Croak"

Without wishing to appear morbid, ... should there be ANYTHING that's CERTAIN in this life, then it is surely the fact that we're ALL going to die someday!

    Yet, in spite
of the time~worn joke about an undertaker's work being a "dying trade", NOTHING could be further from the truth - financially, above all other things - since theirs is a service that will ALWAYS be NEEDED as, year upon year, the sheer cost of even the most basic of funerals continues to increase alarmingly.

So, with this in mind, I opted to pre~pay my own funeral.

Funeral Plans can be pretty expensive (mine was £6,505). But ... ... at least they provide much~needed peace of mind at an extremely difficult time for grieving relatives who are left behind.

    And y'know makes perfect sense.

Should have opted for the oven Arth. Average cost of a cremation is £750.

Even a burial on average is below £2000 according to 2017 figures.

... 'fraid I'm NOT a cremation fan, even though BOTH my parents chose that form of disposal. Likewise, my late first wife, who'd actually wanted to bequeath her body to medical research ... only to learn (back in 1991) that she [seemingly ] couldn't fulfil such a wish because of her being a cancer patient.

... £800 at present for a new plot Jamie. And I'm led to believe the amount invested with 'Golden Charter' takes care of inflationary expenses when the time comes.

My Dad has arranged all his funeral already, he's only 61, has his will done and apparently I'm the executor of the will... He'll probably outlive me though!

Wise man, ... it's never too early at the rate prices keep going up these days.

I've no idea what to do about a funeral or the cost, never seen a dead person yet
