I always use to think that but since I have retired I have come to realise that you don’t need that much , as long as you don’t have debt then you will be surprised how much you really do need , I’m doing my best to avoid the tax man here, I put all my money into ISAs and come this November when I get my state pension I will reduce my private pension to just £100 a month , but after saying all this , it’s nice to know I have enough to see me outOriginally Posted by Rory
