Your marriage in the Philippines, is it the same guy, your former husband?

Yes, with my ex-husband and I filed for divorce when the marriage broke down

Oh I see. I don't know how you can get all the process quicker but unfortunately, annulment is the way to go if you'd go back to the Philippines. You need to get a solicitor that can handle this and help you.

I don't need an annulment. In April this year, the Supreme Court recognised divorce obtained by a Filipino from foreign spouse. I am just not sure whether I still need to apply for judicial recognition of my divorce. I need to speak to a solicitor.

I have just come across this news while doing my research about annulment & divorce.
