At long last initial construction of the Metro Manila Subway started last February 27.
Its a Filipino-Japanese joint venture. Japan has donated over P50B already and will actually design and build the first 3 stations with completion of these in 2022
15 stations will be completed and operational by 2025 including Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay City
A state of the art tunnel boring machine will be used.
Sorely needed.
Let's hope it gets further than many other 'projects' have managed to in the past.
