Still Alive!!!!

I have NEVER experienced tonsillitis like that before!!!
Combine it with my ongoing deafness resulting from my cold of 8 weeks ago, a very bad cough and headaches and you begin to realise that my arrival back here in the Phils. was something of a physical/emotional turmoil.

Fred, sorry I wasn't in touch - but spent most of my time in a bed in Makati.

Arrived in Dumaguete Wednesday and literally could not speak - it felt as if my throat was 'closing up.' I began to get quite scared really.

Then things got even worse - THE RUNS!!!!!!!

Hanna got me copious amounts of medicine in the form of capsules, tablets, sprays.

A few days down the road and I am now feeling 80% (Which, of course, is enough to enjoy a San Mig. or 12.)

So guys, I am back and will start posting again forthwith.

BTW - Keith - do I have to send in a sick note or can I self-certify?

Teach! We wondered what had happened to you, glad to hear your feeling better now. You lucky person enjoying all that sunny weather, its -10 here, rain, snow, wind, you name it. So how are you adjusting to life in Philippines? (apart from the runs!)

Many thanks everyone for your good wishes. Yes, Hanna is taking very good care of me.

Also, the tablets and capsules seem to have been working their magic.
However, I could not hack the suppositories - they taste bloody awful - and far too big to swallow.

BTW.. Tanduay is a wonderful anti biotic.. Cheaper then that other stuff found at the chemists too..
