Shame that the police detectives missed so many clues.
I was a student in Bradford at the time when he killed one of his victims just opposite our halls of residence.
Lots of curry houses in the area, you could have a Keema Bhuna with three chappatis and an Onion/Tomato/Mint Yoghurt side salad for a Quid. Two chappatis was enough for me so I always took one back to the halls of residence, soaked it in water, and wrapped it around some other students door handle. Set like concrete by the morning.
Them were the days.
They should have got him sooner.
He should have been topped long ago.
I can vividly recall my girlfriend (a student nurse in York) at the time, being afraid to go out after dark.
