Just my oppinion based on research but I think that they have been lying to us about what is a "healthy diet" for many, many years.. Thus the REAL Obesity epidemic..
Just my oppinion based on research but I think that they have been lying to us about what is a "healthy diet" for many, many years.. Thus the REAL Obesity epidemic..
This is a long video but extremely educational to me..
This woman has eaten nothing but meat only once a day for 4 years..
She gets a full body scan and the Doctor is pretty much stunned by the findings.
Seems like she is the most healthy individual that he has EVER observed after viewing full scan results.
How can that be given what we have been told for the last 40 years?
I cut out sugar and carbohydrates fifteen months ago and changed to a Keto style diet with less than 20g Carbohydrates allowed per day.
No bread, pasta, potatoes, flour, biscuits, chips.
No sugar, Mars bars, candy, cakes, Pringles.
Wine, low carb beer, straight Tequila and Bourbon replaced the Real Ale.
Lots of meat, steaks, bacon, cheese, with healthy low carb vegetables.
I replaced rice with green beans or riced cauliflower.
No ready meals.
All meals tracked in MyFitnessPal app and website.
My weight plummeted at a kilo per week at first, I am now down over 40Kg, more than a third of my body weight, and don't want to lose any more.
Initially, I had just a bulletproof coffee for breakfast, plus midday and evening meals. I have now added a second breakfast such as a double egg cheese omelette, or kippers, or a quarter of a Camembert. I allow myself the occasional pint of real ale or Guinness, a bit of 90% dark chocolate and don't mind if I go over 20g of carbs per day.
I walk a minimum of five miles per day and at least 10,000 steps per day.
My high blood pressure has reduced considerably,
My BMI has reduced from obese to normal,
My 42" waist Levi 501's have been replaced by 32" waist slim fit jeans.
It's all about avoiding carbohydrate addiction.
Well done Dave!! You should be applauded.. Takes a lot of self discipline to achieve results like that.
Most TV doctors on morning TV would have dismissed your diet attempts as dangerous along with serious "bad for your health" warnings.
Example below shows these MSM Idiots along with their traditional TV doctor "expert" trying to break down and belittle a guy that has helped 1000`s of people actually lose a hell of a lot of weight and even reverse their diabetes 2 diagnoses in many cases..
They are all a bit too busy trying to push other things right now so the obesity pandemic is on the back burner.
These people are dangerous for our health IMO.
I wonder what the true data of deaths due to obesity there has been since all these enforced lockdowns from over a year ago?
How many new cases of obesity?
How many new deaths caused by obesity?
I shudder to think.

You couldnt make this stuff up.. No one would believe it!
We learn nothing about nutrition, claim medical students.
Medical students say they currently learn almost nothing about the way diet and lifestyle affect health - and they should be taught more.
They say what they are taught is not practical or relevant to most of the medical problems they see in GP surgeries, clinics and hospitals.
A leading GP estimated that up to 80% of his patients had conditions linked to lifestyle and diet.
These included obesity, type 2 diabetes and depression.
Why does this lack of training matter?
This year the NHS will spend more than £11bn on diabetes alone - social care costs, time off work etc, will almost double that bill.
Type 2 diabetes - the most common kind - is linked to obesity. And right now Britain is the fat man of Europe.

Are vegetables good for us..As Carnivores, should we be eating them?
Fascinating stuff and illustrates very clearly how contradictory the so called food nutritional science has been over the years..
Makes no difference to me if members watch this stuff or not..
This site is my one stop bookmark host!
Everything so called Dietitians have been telling us for years was all plain wrong!!
Humans are MEAT eaters!
If you eat meat and eggs only you will get healthy.
The people below are on a Carnivore diet.
I post the video below because you never know.. It could save and prolong someone's life.
Dr Paul Mason obtained his medical degree with honours from the University of Sydney, and also holds degrees in Physiotherapy and Occupational Health. He is a Specialist Sports Medicine and Exercise Physician.Dr Mason developed an interest in low carbohydrate diets in 2011. Since then he has spent hundreds of hours reading and analyzing the scientific literature. For the last two years, Dr. Mason has been applying this knowledge in treating metabolic and arthritis patients who have achieved dramatic and sustained weight loss and reductions in joint pain.

Abstract
Obesity, a new pandemic, is associated with an increased risk of death, morbidity, and accelerated aging.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15601956/
The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology's editorial, Obesity: another ongoing pandemic,1 is appropriate during the current times to focus on the issue of obesity across the world. Obesity is a major health-care concern, even in middle-income and low-income countries, because of its association with chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and some cancers.

Normally I tend to agree with you Fred, but on this occasion the 'facts' you've expressed are not facts just because you've expressed them.
On the contrary they're misleading by using headlines line 'epidemic' and 'pandemic' where both of these terms are describing transmittable infectious diseases. Please share a link to show us all how obesity is transmittable and infectious
I have already cited and posted links from Gov. Websites such as The"National Library of medicine" that accurately describes the world obesity tragedy quite correctly as a 'Pandemic'.
Carbohydrates are a direct cause of Insulin resistance.
The food pyramid guidelines that people are being told to follow is slowly killing them.
Obviously, this is an extremely inconvenient/uncomfortable truth for those dispensing such advice.
Watch Dr Paul Mason`s video above.
It`s an eye opener.

While it "makes no difference" to you if "members watch this stuff or not", I watched because you asked me to do so.
You may now consider adding this https://filipinaroses.com/showthread...hlight=obesity to your "bookmark" list, if / when you have time.
Andrew Taylor,an ex extremely obese Aussie lost 120 lb by only eating high carb filled Boiled/Baked potatoes for one year.. He says he even had the occasional beer.
Was he actually healthier as an extremely obese man given his refusal to eat a normal nutritional so called healthy balanced diet?
How did stuffing himself full of boiled spuds daily make the fat laden weight burn from him?
The mind boggles with questions.
