Cheers Fred, and same to you and yours.

Not missing much in the UK, apart from any loved ones still there of course. (We also visited with my 96 year-old mum). Place seems to be going downhill fast. Usual problems. Say no more. Sad to see.

The UK is getting a worse place to live every year. We will be off in less that 3 years and we have no plans to return.

Indeed that’s my thoughts about the UK too, we are looking at being in the Philippines next Christmas and hoping to find a place we can call home , renting not buying though

Nice to see you posting Steve.

I've been here in the Phils since 2018, (with a 13A visa) and no regrets so far.

Rented (from 2016) before buying land, and building our modest home.

Hopefully we can find somewhere where we both will be happy , we will do the usual things go to the nice places and stay while we look for a place ,but I don’t want to be anywhere near the family a flight in distance would be fine , but another problem I have is Emma she loves being here in the UK , Bohol I do like that could be our starting point
