Man Trapped On Barge, Rescued By BFP - Marikina River

During the typhoon, a number of barges broke loose on the Marikina River, and crashed into a bridge. Some sank. A man was seen on one of the barges, luckily for him, the BFP managed to rescue him after 8 hours, even though the barge he was on was partly submerged.

Hope they've taken note and have now fitted stronger mooring 'ropes' to such craft !
