The Secret Service is looking into Elon Musk's post on X that suggested it was strange no one attempted to assassinate President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris. In response to a FOIA request, the agency said it is withholding records due to "enforcement proceedings."

The FBI have to look in to everything related to assassination attempts, that includes Musk's comments. They got into a lot of trouble for not following things up when Trump got shot. Musk quickly took his own post down when he realised it was wrong. He doesn't back down unless he realises his stance is wrong, as has just happened in Brazil.
