    Lutong Pinoy?

Has anyone been to the restaurant "Lutong Pinoy" near Earls Court station, London. I'm thinking of having my wedding reception there. I'll go there this saturday probably and have a look for myself, but has anyone been to that Filipinino restaurant? What's it like?

been to lutong pinoy and the one next door to the right as you look in from the road and now there is the filpino bakery next door to the left or is that what the lutong pinoy is called

All of them are decent, but a few peole from here have been and not impressed i guess they were hoping for a up market resturant when they are just cafes nothing flash.

My Wife loved going Phill foods with TFC on the tv and fresh mango juice

I wrote a review a few months ago of that one not the lutong.

The time we went to Lutong pinoy wen it was the only cafe on that side of the road there is the fiesta cafe on the other side (are you keeping up nigel) the wife ordered kare kare which was made with peanut buter not real peanut so was only okie not pukka i had beef steak which was fine but had better. Pretty pricey but its sw5 so what do you expect?

A few months ago both were doing buffets which are fine but no labels if your not a phill yourself and want to try (ie if you have a nut allegry or just don't like a particular food type tuff) but im sure if you asked they would explain.
The san mig was very very nice in the one i did a review in but the 2nd time we went it was not avaiable

We went to eat lunch there yesterday with my fiance... The area is not that big but I feel at home and relaxed, and yes as what Andy Paul said, TFC is installed at the area so customers can watch it while dining in.

This restaurant serves buffet everyday at £7.50 per person. The choices of food were typically Filipino.

I bet you have to go and see how is it if you are planning to have your wedding reception there.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the post Andy, and everyone else, I love kare kare, can't get enought of it! And I like Chicken adobo, and, and, and, and, Lumpia! There most be lots of filipno dishes that I didn't even try yet though! I don't think I'll be using Lutong Pinoy after all, my family are complaining it's too far away! I'll probably visit soemtime though!
