Marrying next month in The Philippines.
Wanted to make contact with others who have filipino partners.
Anyone in the The North East of Engand.
Also once married does anyone know how long it is likely to take for my wife to get a visa ? I am a full British citizen with a home and job and can support both of us, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

hi good luck with your lady. i can't help with visa rules, i found them a bit daunting and never tried applying yet. was thinking about a visit visa first, but now my relationship went tits up so looks like that idea is out the window. I was told if you are married getting a visa is a piece of ****. 2 to 3 weeks a flipina told me, and you don't even need such good qualifications, but i don't know from my own experience. sori i can't be more help. best of british to u and ur fiancee

Welcome and best wishes and congratulations in advance to both of you. Well, as far as my experienced 5 years ago I waited for 3 months for my interview and 2 weeks for my visa and my hubby had a previous marriage too. Good luck

congrats on ur coming weddig.when was that and where in the philippines? im here right now in the phils.just went home last month and suposed to go back the other day,but my fiancee wants to follow me here and wr going back together end of april..his coming here april 8..and plan to go back england on the 27th.im going to meet him in manila then stay there for 3 days and back here in davao..included in our plan to pass by cebu before going back via hongkong..im looking forward to meet some brits here in phil when my fiancee arvd so he will be happy talking experiences..what i know ,that makes hard to book in cebu pacific if ur using credit card issued outside phils... mine is so easy coz im the one booking it for him..using my credit card issued here...its so easy and no hassle travelling with cebu pacific and so cheap...

hi glad to meet you too here...my fiancee will arvd on april 8 in manila so il meet him there,and we wl stay 3 days there before going back here in davao..i already booked in apo view hotel on the 11th and 12th.. then out on the 13th going to paradise for 3 days..then going back downtown in apo view again for preparation of going to my farm/vacation house in marilog..if we wl meet here and u would like to go to my farm house..ur so much welcome..or if u like too..we can meet in apo view or in paradise lol..
u can ask christine of apoview diamond club office what is my room no..or call our house in toril what cel no. im using..or leave a msg what is ur cel no. too so i can call you..our house tel no. in toril is 291 08 15. hope to see you here when u arvd..
