    Wink Hmmmmmm streaming??????

Well, streaming from the internet can be pretty cac, especially when contention rates are high.
The ISP's would have us believe that our broadband is a dedicated resource, but the fact is, that it is a shared resource, and when the kids get home from school is poss that everything can slow up when they all connect to the internet!!
By the way, I am a satellite TV/Cable TV specialist and please feel free to ask any advice.
Streaming from the internet to your TV is by far the most cheapest option of course, although no where near the quality of satellite.
I have a High Definition Motorised system here. and i'ts awesome, although a pain to configure it all

If you have someone in the phils with a subscription, you can consider installing what is known as a slingbox.

Do a google search using that keyword for more info!

This little unit connects to the Scart socket of the set top box in the given country, then it can be connected to their broadband connection, and you can then downstream it to your PC/TV
It even gives you remote control capability.
I just set a system up for a German chap.

    Ooopssss hehehh.

Here I go on again, but pls ask me anything u like if i can help.

    Best of luck.

I'll be surprised if you can find any device with a SCART socket being sold in Phils.

Hmmmmm, yes i can believe that, especially coz is not a worldwide standard.
My place in Peru SA uses BNC/Phonos.

Ok, Scart is only a connectivity standard, and Slingbox doesn't need a Scart.

Like I said, my offer for any technical helps stands.

I need to see what they use in the phils when I go to see my intended future wife in Cebu, lol
