    depend on your circumstances,

how long you are staying for, where you going to live, eat, what are you going to do when you get here ?.. etc... or is your sponsor going to pay

if ure going to apply for a visit visa, the money in the bank should have had incoming and outgoing at least 6months..

because the ECO will know it if u just opened an account just for the application..

sis actually there is really no minimun amount u have to put into an account, because the ECO will still check all the docs u have submitted..like aside from the account, in what ways u can still support ur stay in the UK and also what are some of the reasons why u can prove to them that u will be back in the Phils..

this is only based on my experience..

Would it not depend on if you are coming for 1 weeks or 6 months?

And whether you are staying with friends or staying in a hotel etc.?

the eco will base ur capacity to support urself without depending others...but if somebody will accomodate the stay..it can help...coz we all know..board and lodging is the most expensive if going for a tour...so the eco would consider that such amount...
