OK people - first, the apologies.................

As you know, I am currently suffering a horrible life here in the Phils. Fags 10p a packet - brandy 70p a bottle - up to 35 degrees sun - you know how hard it is......man, what I wouldn't give for some of your snow back home - and beer touching £3 a pint - and petrol at £5 a gallon........

But I don't want you all to think that I am TOTALLY unhappy..........no sir!!!

I have found certain pleasure in watching WOWOWEE!!! (Fred - you'll back me up on that one)

Anyroad, I want to apologise AGAIN for the fact that I have not been posting so much lately and consequently have not greeted ALL new members - have not congratulated all those who have their Visas (I shall never be able to get my Hanna her visa - I am SOOOO upset) - and also not congratulated all the new babies we seem to have had recently......

So, I shall do that now - welcome and congrats to you all - this is the best site you could possibly be on (Green Blob searching here Keith.)

Now to the 'what' part of my post..........

I don't really know how to put this democratically so I shall just 'go for it'...........Am I alone in thinking that some of the new posters lately seem a bit - well - strange?

BTW - did I mention - I probably didn't - that I got an eagle at golf the other week?

Finally, where is Barnsley Mark???? He popped up suddenly and then he was gone!!!!

There is a cold one in my 'fridge for you all.

That's made so sad. I feel so sorry for you, I'll probably be watering down my £3 a pint beer with teardropsjust thinking about you in the pub tonight and then I'll be choking (outside in the cold) on my £5+ a packet tearsodden fags.

i don't drink, so a pint could be £10 or 1p wouldn't make any difference to me

i would be bored watching tv in the phils, too much tagalog for me. I would be clueless as to whats going on

its hard in the uk, but don't cry for me, as i watch united play tonight on tv, and watch a few films in english

what u need is a job with a petrol card just fill up at any petrol station and let some one else pay for it ie my company,i havent payed for any petrol for the last 4 years
