The day after I got back from London, my car's clutch hidraulics jacked it in.....

Not wanting to lose valuable sales during a normally lean period, I did go out and rented a wreck.

My car is now in a garage that specializes in Rovers, and after 3 days I am still in the dark as to the scale and approximate cost of the problem with it.
I phoned the guys a couple of times, but apparently they haven't had the time to look at it yet.

I am expecting an exorbitant estimate, as there is nobody else, really, wanting to touch Rover cars around here.

The upsetting thing is the NOT knowing.....
After all I have a couple of credit cards just for something like that happening.
I just hope that I am just panicking for nothing, and it will be just a couple or three hundred quid.... But I ain't holding my breath.....

It looks like as if I will have to take next week as holiday, as although the hire car is working fine, it does not inspire much confidence...
And even if it was cheap, it is not as cheap as I wanted it to be.

Oh, well. poo does happen.....
