price of a visa is not rising, but as you have to pay in php at the embassy they give you at the mo 85php to £1, as the £ to the php flutuates the embassy adjust their £ to php rate, so you always pay £500+ , never less than £500

if you look at the mo its 43,775 for a marriage/settlement visa / by 83.5 (current pnb rate) = £524

but using embassys 85php rates its only £515

So agreeing with you 100%, doesn't come too difficult....

    I don't think so.

Maybe he thought that he would find some kind of absolution from us here.
    And none was forthcoming....

All he got from the start was an intense barrage of warnings and suggestions which were not in line with what he expected from us....

Yes, I see what you mean, but I still hold to my opinion.

Probably looking for encouragement with that relationship to nowhere else but aggro, and most probably jail and deportation if caught.

Thanks to all for your comments

Well quite a mixed bag of replies, but most fairly predictable. Thanks to those who have offered genuine advice, even if it was contrary to my intentions. I am aware of the risks involved, but as those of you who have been in love will know, it is more powerful than common sense, legal questions or any other man-made obstacle. I will be patient, marry my fiancee when she is 18 and apply for a visa then (or 21 if the rules change). Good luck to all of you and take care.
