god knows... but i know i got rep points for starting a thread (which people liked)..... the boss will let you know and i guess if you had any he would take them off you for asking
its the little scale thing that aroused my interest
if some one thinks you've posted something interesting or helpful they can give you a rep , i think you also get one for every number of x posts you make
The scales are for approval or disapproval of a post - its a bit like a community brownie points system really, so you can add to someone's reputation, or give them a disapproval if you think the post is pants (as in the majority of Keith Admin's case)

No I searched before asking but the scales only appear on my own posts , if they appeared on everyones I could understand that I click on their post to give rep but the scales are only on mine , when I clicked to see what happens it says I have 5 points.
How then do I give somone else Rep?
The scales are on every post!

on your post top right on the green band it says #15 and then report post a triangle symbol
on mine above it says #14 then the scales then report post and that is the same on any thread hence my original post.
?????????????
Maybe it's because your 'member' is not big enough
We might have changed the rules after the last bit of hassle we had so only Respected Member's can use it.
