It all depends i saw a lot of people applying at the office when my wife was there.
only problem to book a call they charge about ten pounds for the call as do some of the others

below is the italian embassy for my Wife it was a fairly easy process and they were far nicer experience than the french embassy which is very very busy. If you ask peanuts on here who is pinay and a former resident of italian she maybe able to help you more possibly.
