I see these so called parents are doing the rounds again....obviously no charge for STUPIDITY
I used to leave my kids to play with petrol & matches, never a problem....
....pity

But they are middle class doctors and its everyone elses fault.
Which ones mum was in the paper quoted as saying she couldn't belive they left them alone?
Why in a latin country would you need to leave the kids on their jacks?
All southern european resturants (everyday ones not really snooby joints)
have no problems with chilldren in them if one does the next will have no problem for sure.
I don't disagree but they have paid for their calculation with their kid's disappearance/life. I am sure you think that the "crime" fits the sentence.
Why shouldn't iit be - are all Laton American citizens kiddie fiddlers or something. Of course the anglo-saxon world does not have these bad people. Why in a latin country would you need to leave the kids on their jacks?
I for one, have never left my kids alone.
Even when I was absolutely gagging for a ciggie and the shop was only 300 yards away.
Everytime we went out, we always had a baby sitter, and a standby to check up on things.
Continental restaurants welcome kids of all ages, and are always ready to accomodate, even the snobby ones.
What happened is tragic, but I have no patience with the parents although as a parent myself I grieve with them, a loss is a loss however it did occur.
I would rather maddie was found safe and well and the parents were punished not the child.
No most resturants and public places in Latin countries ( a loose description many use for the south of europe not latin american but i bet they the same from what i hear and read) love kids and any resturant or shop you go to in my experience kids are doted on and happily acccepted compared to the anglo saxon world.
Thats why i like phill resturants most happily will alllow kids in with out any snobbery or shove them in the corner.
Any one seen a chip?
It was reported wandering off on someones shoulder
combined income of at least £150,000 a year, you would have thought they could afford to pay for someone to look after their kids, instead of locking 3 under 4 year olds in a room on thier own
i'm sure they could have got someone to come from the uk to look after them, if they paid for the holiday.
i've never locked my kids in a room, never left them for more than 1 min, its nothing but child neglect, and from 2 parents who are professionals trained to recongnise it and who should know better
