Yet again Spain under perform and at least one more time we will get to see Zidane playing again. Still do not think France will win it but you never know.....
Felt sorry for Ghana as they have played so well in the world cup. If only they could have had a good striker the game might have been different...
Lovely goal by Zidane: great pass by Wiltord, sublime coolness by Zidane. So... now he has to face his apprentice, young Ronaldinho...
And the 2010 WC could be a lot more unpredictable; the African nations will have a great chance then.
I'm sure we've all heard and seen enough about the English players' WAGs. Just wondering how all the Filipino-UK WAGs are coping with the World Cup... We know Erve's well into it... and Mel too - she's watched more matches than I have! What about other wives/gfs? How are they coping with what must be a weird event to them?
Ivor and Mel
Henry is s cheat now as well.....utter disgrace, and with his talents...

Rhea has no interest in football, all she knows is i am a Liverpool fan and Steve Gerrard is my fav player and he also plays for England. I must admit she is very good considering this and lets me watch the world cup even when she wants to watch something else. Just as well as i just bought a projector and now i have a 6 foot match playing most days on my livingroom wall lol

She really has picked up the World Cup Fever, and enjoys every minute of the matches, no matter who is playing, I guess I am lucky in that regard.

As always Keith provides the humour to the Forum, he always has that ability of turning any serious conversation into a sexual one....way to go Kieth...

I still can't believe I saw that happen last night... almost as stupid as Rivaldo last time... His reputation has been permanently tarnished now.Originally Posted by Win2Win
Would an England player do that? I couldn't say "no"... Joe Cole, Owen, Gerrard are all getting very "cute" nowadays. Cheating and cynicism in the game seem to be getting worse, and, as the stakes get higher, it's not going to disappear.
Mel's the same as Gina, Pete.. shouting, screaming, bouncing up and down... The neighbours must think I'm a superstud
Crouch was, unsurprisingly, the first player she learnt to recognise; but now it's also Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard.. even Owen! Other teams too.. she knows Henry, Ronaldinho, Kaka... It's surprised me (and pleased me!) the way she's taken to it. Maybe I should take her to Bramall Lane and show her what the real world of football is like
My missus already had a thing for Michael Owen when I met her.
Although I can assure you its not for his predatory instincts in front of goal (cue box joke here)
Apparently in Singapore at the mo, everone is supporting England, her and her mate went to watch the game on Sunday and said it was st georges crosses everywhere.
But now she has a diliemma as her mate and fellow England supporter has now switched her allegiance to Portugal (due to Mr Figo) so things should get interesting on Sat
When we win of course

I did not see the whole game last night so what happened with Henry?Originally Posted by ivor&mel

In reference to an earlier post i wrote about having a projector, i could not believe how much cheaper they have got. My friend bought one last year for £1200 and i got mine on ebay brand new for a 1/4 of that price.
And its great for the World Cup games & soon it will be the Liverpool in the league, though wow cannot imagine how big Crouch is going to look lol
Feigning injury after a clash with Puyol... Went down clutching his face which was never touched... Seems this may have been revenge on Henry's part for his treatment from Puyol when **** played Barca...Originally Posted by Eljohno

For a change, I watched tennis on tele when Murray was playing, hes a brilliant player I should say, must be the next Agassi?
There is always death and taxes; however, death doesn't get worse every year.
He needs a makeover!!

Murray, ,the one who was supporting anyone except England at football.
If only the Tennis crowd had the balls to reciprocate
Too nice for that though.... roll on Saturday !

So what's the line-up going to be for Sat? 4-1-4-1?
Robinson
Neville Ferdinand Terry Cole
Hargreaves
Beckham Lampard Gerrard Cole
Rooney
I think so, unless anyone picks up a knock in training and assuming red nev is fully fit
I cant believe Germany V Argies is on at 4.00 tomorrow
I dont finish till 5.30

I guess the team picks itself now... this must be our first-choice XI
Well with who's fit, if Owen were still involved then would prob go back to 4-4-2,
And maybe once Svens gone Beckham might get dropped for lennon, especially if he has another good season for tottenham
I just hope Gerrard takes it by the scruff of the neck on Sat, rooneys genna be well up for it and I just hope the rest of them turn up too!
I just heard Man U have put in a 20 Mil bid for Carrick, Fergie must really rate him
