Camcorders, which one to buy?

Memory cards are a safe option, but slow, hard to work with, and don't hold that much. Alright as backups......and don't put them near a magnet!!

I have a selection of 2 and 4 gig, sd, xd, M2, Duo, pro duo, compact flash, Memory sticks.... You name it, I got it....
It is the card reader that lets me down a bit, it is so ancient....
