Last week I did 7 flights across 3 time zones and neglected to call my mum, who I call every day. I called the wife but don't tell mum.
Anyway, it happens, when you have meetings at what your body is telling you is 3am etc. Then I could not access my email cause only GSM was available in certain locations rather than GPRS.
Additionally, I could not access my voice mail in certain places as I had forgotten to enable a pin code which I then found out I could only do when home in the UK.
Cut a long story short, stuff like that happens when traveling which I'm sure as a business traveler yourself, you know all about. that's not even taking into account all the corporate entertainment.
As someone said earlier the chances of anything being wrong are extremely unlikely. Just give him a few more days; i'm sure he is just fine and will get in touch soon.
