it is totaly crazy in Zamboanga a,
ive been there twice and as yet not had a problem and found most people are very good, even traveled on the bus to Sirawi but did have to cover up my face and arm so no one knew i was english as some of the roads are said to be no go areas.
but if the nutters who do the kidnapping would stop then they would get more tourists in the south which would help a lot of locals
