Hi Simon, I think it is much harder for our Filipinas as they leave their close tight-knit families for a new life.
I think the man's responsibility is to work all the hours to make everything work smoothly in getting the visa and preparing a new life for her.
I often think of how it must have been thousands of years ago when men went out to bring home the food for the mother at home.
I hope the last sentence didn't come over as sexist, but I do want my wife to stay at home and bring up our baby (ies).
