A fed-up tourist staged a roadside strip tease in front of road workers - saying she was fed up with their wolf-whistles.
Naked aggression over whistlesThe Israeli woman was about to use a cash machine in the New Zealand town of Kerikeri when the men apparently whistled her.
She calmly stripped off her clothes and then withdrew some money, before getting dressed and walking away.
The woman told police she did not take kindly to the whistling from the men repairing the road.
"She said she had thought 'bugger them, I'll show them what I've got'," police sergeant Peter Masters told reporters.
"She gave the explanation that she had been pestered by New Zealand men. She's not an unattractive looking lady," Mr Masters said.
"She was taken back to the police station and spoken to, and told that it was inappropriate behaviour in New Zealand."
That was good one! but I woudn't do that if someone whistled at me.
A lots of blokes are like that in the Philippines and I hate them If they whistled at womens. I thought its disrespectful.
