    Texting?

I read on another thread, some peoples dislike of texting...I find that quite suprising? given, this distance thing.
Personally, I love texting, sending & receiving...It's a perfect means of communication...So simple & always to hand.

It dosen't have to be much, can be just a few words, but it always puts me in a good mood if I receive one.

That is true, especially with all the alternative ways of texting such as Chikka and Yahoo too. It is nice to be on the road and get an unexpcted text to brighten the day.

Texting with a computer keyboard yes, but I find it really not easy and long with the small phone keyboards...
That's why I use also my PDA for texting!
    Best regards.

I'm 100% behind you on that one, but not in the sense that Al would be

    Sorry Al

I suspected you did that's why i emphasised about receiving texts. It does not matter how texts are sent but receiving them on a mobile device is nice. I dont so much enjoy texting from a mobile; using a PC is far preferable.

Just while we are on the subject i am sure those who love saving money already use the o2 £10 a month top up which gives you 300 texts & you can use the £10 on calls. I have used this for ages and now i signed up to one of their bolt ons that takes £5 from the £10 you pay and allows you to text/call a 1000 texts or mins or you can mix them up to your top 10 fav o2 numbers. Hope this helps someone!!

    Hello Eljohno
Can you text the Phils as part of the 300 texts?

I would of thought it was a requirement, to text, with the Philippines? or is it Manila?

I seem to end up with bundles of handsets from the "free upgrades" signing away for 18months isnt free.. after the ink is dry your stuck with the deal..
But end up with taking 3 or 4 phones to give away everytime i goto the Philippines.

Texting.. I text probably if you count skype.. maybe 40 times a day on my mobile. Total cost £10.00 per month.

I love texting, it's my life. Will all the great promos of all Cell Services here in the Philippines, it's easier for me to communicate thru text.
