They don't tell you, as they do not really know you are who you say you are, hence it is returned to the registered address. Anyway, at least you know it is happening, and in 24hrs you'll know if your babe is free to leave, or just has to have an interview, which isn't as much of a problem as it used to be.

Oh Dear&#33; My head is spinning and quite nervous of the result. According to UKVACS site they inform you before hand of your interview date before receiving the documents.
