do i need to visit her again?

Hello! I just want to ask something about applying fiancee visa.
I meet my fiance november online and I visited her april last month for 3 weeks in cebu. I did talk to a guy who works in agency, he said 1 visit is not enough to make fiancee visa granted and that i need to visit my fiance more than once, can any body tell us if its true although i know the more times the better and he also said because we only known each other for 7 months that a spoucal visa will be better for us is that true also. He also said that age gap is a big problem that they might not approve her visa. I am 42 and she is 24.He said its much better for me to go back philippines instead and marry there and apply spousal visa.

I just wnat to ask to those who been through fiancee visa. How many times does your bf visits you b4 u did apply for fiancee visa. Is one visit not enough? And does age gap really a big problem? and does my girl needs to be financially stable so to make her visa granted? thank you and i will appreciate it so much if someone could help me and clear my mind. And can anyone recomment to an agency? thank you

One visit is not a problem....age gap is not also a problem...what u need is to show evidence of genuine relationship...did u keep all the pictures, hotel receipt and any evidence that u have been together,u need that
Also some members here the lady is young and the man are in 40"s ,wanted to mention them for you but kinda rude if i specify....
Just wait for them to reply and for sure they will kindly share their experience to you,one more thing it isn't true also that your future wife need to be financially stable ?so she can have visa ? not true

lastly good luck to you micksheryl

Applicants/Sponsors with a large difference in ages The rules do not state that the applicant and sponsor must be within a certain age differential, but if there is a disproportionate age difference (for example, more than 25 - 30 years), additional care needs to be taken when applying for a visa

as for meeting only once, well i would have thought it depends on the amount of evidence you have, or lack of evidence that could effect your visa app and how long you have known each other..

maybe thats why the agency said we need to meet again because we have only known each other for 7 months and most of that on line and when we met it was only for three weeks

when I apply for my visa, my hubby only visit me once but if u can afford to visit ur fiancee many times before she apply its up to u..as long as u have evidence of ur relationships and uc an prove to the ECO that it si genuine I dont think it is an issue whether u go and visit her once, twice or even thrice..

NO, hubby and I also have an age gap but it never seems a problem when I applied..

If she's applying for a fiancee visa, she dont need to be financially stable..it is U who needs to prove to the ECO proof of accomodation and that u can support her during her stay here in the UK without recourse to the public funds.. but if she's going to apply for a visit visa she needs to prove that she can support herself..

I dont think she needs to use an agency, just keep on reading all posts here and experiences for sure she will surely have her visa..also she needs to submit it personally so just save ur money..

    Goodluck..

Hello mickandsherryl , about to ur question above about age gap...i may add .. as long as ur gf is not 18 below u will not have a problem on processing her apllication just collect all the evidences that u have..emails , chatlogs, ur pictures together , ur bank account proof that u have visited her ( Board Pass - ticket) and other evidences that shows ur relationship is genuine ... i met my mahal Once last december 24 , 2007 and we stayed at home with family , and now my application is on the process ( fiancee Visa). It was 2 years b4 we see each other in person. . Dont worry about the age gap , as long as u love each other . God Bless u and Good Luck
