As I told the missus, you'd all better hurry up as the driving test is about to get much harder later this year.

tell me about it, 7th time lucky, while taking her test, somecut her up, nearly crashing, the misses was pretty shaken up, not my misses fault, driving examiner asked if she wanted to carry on or stop the test
, misses said no way, knees shaking.. carried on, misses was sure she failed and she passed
the other 6 times, stupid reasons why she failed, i'm sure many times its was becuase the examiner was in a bad moodand wouldn't have bothered to give a major mark.
but good luck.. you just have to keep trying..
it nearly cost me as much as i had to pay forvisas

you mean your visa's for your misses didn't cost you £3000
err, in total i would have thought it cost about £1,700 for the tests and driving lessons,, half what i paid for visas a bargin
but the same amount of stress as the visa process![]()
it would be cheaper to hire a polish chauffeur
i was about to try this on the misses

I have been taking my driving lessons since Oct 07
I am getting more confident each day, but still I get panick when I have to stop on hills and roundabouts
My driving instructor told me that by next month if I heard it right, examiners would actually ask you to follow the road signs while you are taking your driving exam. He will ask you to take him to a place by following the road signs without him telling you where to turn etc.![]()

I don't think it's wise to scrimp on the driving lessons. If you have just one lesson a week, it takes up half the lesson just trying to get back into the flow of it and remembering what you've already been taught. My wife passed her theory test the second time around and is having 3 lessons a week. On the first theory test, she got full marks on the questions, but failed on the hazard perception.
She also drives my car from time to time just for extra practise, but she says that the fact that I am nervous (no dual controls) makes her nervous. The lessons are booked and paid for in blocks of 10 for £200, but I think it can be much more expensive in the long run if you scrimp on the lessons and have just one a week resulting in multiple failed tests and many, many more lessons.
She is hoping to take her practical test sometime in late September and she says she is feeling quite confident that she will pass.

i didn't scrimp on the misses driving lessons she must have had 30+ and with the ones just b4 her driving tests, must have had near 45! , and she told me she could drive already, and had been in the phils for many years
if your going to fail the theory, its probably will be on the hazard perception., maybe because you don't know what to expect or do, until your doing the test![]()
