    scotland trip

Hi Guys, its me again. We are planning to go to Scotland tommorow for a 8days trip but I dont know where to stay and what to do there. My bf is asking me to do this as he is busy working. Please if you know somewhere to stay in Edinburgh or Glasglow as we plan on staying in Glasglow 2 or 3 days and Edinburgh 2 or 3days as well. We prefer a self catering or bed and breakfast or even caravan or mobile houses. And also if someone can suggest what to do and where to go and places to see there as well. Sorry guys ha it is a rush as I didnt plan this earlier it is my fault tho

Thanks in advance guys I know someone can always help me in this forum.

    More Power and Godbless.

You have left this very late to ask, I cant suggest specific places to stay but there are lots of &B's in Scottish cities.

Edinburgh.....There is a street with many hotels / B&B, ask a taxi driver - they always know those sort of things.

Google "Scotland Caravan Sites", lots should come up with costs.

If you have time, drive around the west coast, the scenery is awe-inspiring.

    Have a nice trip

It depends on what you want to see. If you want to see castles, then you can stay in Scottish border/ English border. See finest castles- Bamburgh Castle, Edinburgh Castle, etc. If you want nature like mountains and lakes, then go to Pitlochery. There are loads of Caravan Sites here. Been there and I like Castles
If you like boat fishing and have a good catch, we can meet I love fishing
    Enjoy!!!

I think your best bet is to just go to Glasgow for a day and Edinburgh for maybe two days and then head out west, if you really want to see Scotland as most people would imagine it, the breathtaking landscapes etc, you're best bet is to tour around a bit.

When youv'e done Edinburgh and Glasgow, head up the A9 and turn off towards Crieff. From there, head towards Fort William and on the way you will travel through some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK. Stay overnight in Fort William and then from there you can travel further north up to Inverness and again some of the views are breathtaking.

We first went to Edinburgh and stopped there for 2days. We went on the city tour and saw Edinburgh castle, climbed the Scott Monument (287 Steps!!), walk around the city and malls got pissed in the evening We then headed to Fort William where the famous Ben Nevis is and also the Whisky Distillery. After that we drove on to Inverness along Loch Ness and stopped at Urquhart Castle on the way. tried to spot the Loch Ness monster (Nessie) but he didnt turn up unfortunately

We carried on driving heading to Inverness town and stayed there for a night in a real nice 5* guest house. On the following day took the long scenic route down to Glasgow (6 hours ) The next day we took the city tour and went round the museum as well and then drove home. It was great.

Sounds fantastic, I'm so glad you managed to see the real Scotland as well as Glasgow and Edinburgh.
