    Talking gov U turn on visitor visa

    well looks like the gov has changed its mind , about visitor visas

    first cash bonds dropped ..

    and now it looks like the visitor visa will be still valid for upto 6 months, and not changed to 3 months

    Was almost hoping the 1000 pound cash bond process might make it easier for the missus to have friends (all young and single most dont have propety or lare amounts of money) visit.

    If they did i would be tagging them the mintue they here so they dont run off so the goverment have nothing to worry about if 1000 quid up was at stake.

    The lack of bonds and not shortening the length of stay sounds good.

    But with the liberals pushing for Exit checks this may affect people more i.e someone has to pay and it cant be joe public not with the current state of affairs regarding price of air travel...

    We need you Joe to keep villgilant for what next scheme gets cooked up
