Hello Welcome to the forum.
I got a 6months visa without much savings but I still submitted my bank statements, my bf sponsor me and provide all documents I needed for my applications submit proof of suitable accomodation and up to date bank statements to prove that he will be able to support me in the whole duration of my visit. I think if you have sponsor they will make sure that ur sponsor will have a good savings and you also have reason that you will be back a before your visa expires.
