hi can anyone give some ideas?....my bf came here last may and visit me and then now his home and he planned to invite me and follow him at his place in scotland,,,he will be going to sponsor me and covered all the cost when i go there, but as i have read some info about uk visa in the website,,it said that they need to get my bank saving also?....i just wanna know if his the one will carry all the cost do i need the bank statement or the savings also?..thats my problem coz i dont have that...hope someone can help me..thanks so much and congrats to all here...

Keep reading on the forum and use the search button,as other members on the forum w/c already now in UK for tourist visa,some of them don't have much money on bank account,but some say need u have assets and savings....and i took this words from joeblogg one of our moderator,"its like lottery"...but it cost u only less than 10thousand pesos for the fee...so why not try a luck

Then you are very unlikely to get a Visitor visa living in the Phil, but not impossible.

You get a 6 month trial on a Fiancee visa, that is what it is for. If you decide not to marry during that period, you go home.

what i mean is the visit visa fee...its 5,850pesos...not much,right? But the important are the supporting documents

Didn't he know that English can apply fiancee even on divorce process ? Ask him, not sure about that because i have English friend told me that they can use fiancee visa even on going divorce

Hello Welcome to the forum.

I got a 6months visa without much savings but I still submitted my bank statements, my bf sponsor me and provide all documents I needed for my applications submit proof of suitable accomodation and up to date bank statements to prove that he will be able to support me in the whole duration of my visit. I think if you have sponsor they will make sure that ur sponsor will have a good savings and you also have reason that you will be back a before your visa expires.

I submitted my account statements without much into it you can do it too. I dont have any properties and even job when I applied for a visit visa if you are employed you can ask your employer a leave of absence letter that will be your proof that you will come back. Prove to them that your relationship is genuine and you are really just going to visit and meet his family and see the Uk. Try to give them a brief information about how you met and when did he visit you and how your relationship develop and sumbit some photos of you together.

I waited exactly 10 working days and I got a text message telling me that I can collect the papers and the result of my application.

Try do some search here cos you will learn a lot more in the other thread that can give you more knowledge about visit visa.

Other plan we had is that if I dont get aprove for a visit visa then we will apply for a fiancee visa.

So dont lose hope, there is no harm on trying just make sure you provide the documents they're asking most importantly your sponsor can support you all through out your visit.

We're planning to submit end of this month as we are in a hurry coz i am about 3mos pregnant around that time....i am still waiting for my passport to be collected in a couple of weeks from now..I renewed it using my married name, i got one before but it was during my single time although i can still use it but i prefer to fix it properly as it is...............
