hi all need to get this off my chest ..
is one month long enough for me when i arrive in manila to marry my gf jen?
we getting married in december near xmas.(in TACLOBAN CITY)i am
planning on arriving 10th of december.(its a wednesday morning)
soon as i get off plane and meet my love we shoot straight
to embassy.ten days to clear (they say) until we can get our hands on
marriage license .= 20th of december .then we gotta arrange and organize
our wedding day.its a busy period near xmas so we worried we not be able
to have a decent wedding ceremony.and we want to enjoy some time together
after we married before i have to come back to england.
so my question is are we being realistic ? is one month enough for us
to do it all ? or will be worrying and rushing and panicking ?
    thanks all for listening .
    cheers jenchas other half.lol

4 weeks is plenty of time to get married
Lanie and I got married last Christmas/New Year and even with two sets of public holidays it was pretty plain sailing

    Two things though

Depending on where you want to get married your gf may or may not be required to attend a pre-marital seminar. Lanie and I got married in Mindanao and this didn’t appear to be a requirement – infact it was never mentioned
If it is required I’m not sure if only she is required to attend it or whether you must attend it as a couple . maybe some other members on the forum can advise

Also the 10 days wait - you can ask the judge / mayor to waive this period , to say 5days

    Hope this helps

    Good Luck !!!!
