something bother me..in apllying a UK visa

Hello,

I just want to ask a question. My b/f wants to invite and sponsor me to come to the UK for a visit visa. But unfortunately there are some confusions.I'am living in Thailand legal on a tourist visa.for 3 years already.And in Thailand me and my b/f meet too.

Would this be a problem when we apply for a visa?

Actually I'am planning now to go back to Philippines.because i know that i can only apply a UK visa in the Philippines.

What sort of a tourist visa would that be ? Unless you are on an ED visa Work visa or retirement or married to a Thai national the Thais do a max of 180 days in the year what does it say this visa?
