I once read on this forum there is a particular Filipino shop in London where you can actually buy phone cards and other Pinoy stuff. Some guys here might be able to let you know where it is exactly. But, i think, if i were you, i would rather send the money or allowance for mobile or celphone credit together with the monthly allowance as it is cheaper to buy one in the Philippines. If you have an account at Equitable PCI Bank which is a Phil-based bank, you can actually load a Globe credit online or even transfer funds from there to other accounts and do other transactions online in just one click.
