Help!!

Hi friends from the forum. I need some help in finding out if this business is actually a business. The name is Colonial Finance and it's address is 3 Tenterden Street Hanover Square in London, UK. I would appreciate any assistance anyone could provide to make sure this is a legitimate finiancial institute. I can't seem to find out anything about it on the internet.

I'm in Chessington and I might be able to have a look for you sometime. If it's a proper business then it should be registered with companies house. You should be able to find information about this supposed business at their website http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ I think every business has to be registered with companies house, I don't think that includes sole traders though..

I've asked 118 118 about this, they have also advised to contact companies house! They've given a number for companies house 08703333636 ......................."0870" - Isn't that a charge number or something?

Thanks Steve, I appreciate your fast responce but I'm not sure the business that showed up in the search on the weblink you provided is the same one. Name is a little different and it is in a different city. The website also shows that there is not another branch of the business listed.

0870 numbers are often revenue makers and can be worse than Premium Rate numbers.
