whatever makes me happy,I'll do it...If I wanna be white, then I'll do all I can to lighten my skin.Just exactly the same as the people who want to be tan.

Having had time to read the medical journals, the reason Glutathione is banned in most of Europe is that is has been proven to be associated with cancer.

I'd say it is definitely worth killing yourself to have whiter skin eh?

Glutathione also provides power to cancer cells, so it will dramatically increase the speed at which it grows, and greatly reduce the effects of any treatment. Cancer Research is working on drugs to BLOCK glutathione during treatment.

Hahaha! I think it's hard to find a famous skier also. Re. the swimming I have heard the same theory. I cannot swim and don't float so well. Mostly, just below the surface which is a slight disadvantage as you can imagine.

    Great writing.

westen indian and african mates when they not winding one another up the ladies were constantly on about weaves, this cream that cream, straighten this and that.
Indian Mates were always talking about shade of skin.

The funny thing as far as i know our hearts and Brains are all the same colour.
Thanks andypaul. Very true about the weave and shades of skin. Many black and Indian comedians focus on those items.

I cut my head last week getting of a Bachelor Express bus. If you could see me now you would see that the part that was cut has been replaced with white skin. In time it will pigment to brown but it does show that colour is such a superficial thing.

It's clearly worth the risk to those that use these products. Makes them happy!

great talking!! i mean, we are women, we want to feel confident and well in our own bodies, some like to loose weight, some like to get a fake tan, other a manicure, other cosmetic surgery... we want to lighten our skin a bit...
if men love us then they will want us to feel good and confident... i think thats the most important...
its just nature, women are more emotional, body-conscious then men...

Being women has no connection with not feeling confident and well in your body. Indeed, skin lightening has been proven unequivocally to cause illness in the body. Most people lose weight as it is medically unhealthy for them to be overweight. Being darker of skin is not an unhealthy state. 'Fake tans', as opposed to naturally developed suntans, look ridiculous.

Manicures are undertaken for neatness and hygiene reasons, skin whitening is not. What would we look like if we could all scale buildings using just our toe and fingernails!

Non-essential cosmetic surgery is largely undertaken for vanity and insecurity reasons. There is also a great deal of medical and governmental activity geared towards counseling those that would have it done for those reasons as they really need help.

If men love you as you put it, surely they would first try to encourage you that you don't need skin lightening for them to love you and for you to be 'feel good & confident' and that you are harming yourself for superficial reasons.

Being emotional has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion. Clearly, many women on this forum don't see that they need skin whitening. Many others think its a shame that some do have that need.

Similarly, there is absolutely no qualified data that supports the notion that women are more body conscious than men. Extant literature posits that men are just as conscious about their bodies/appearance but they deal with it in largely differing ways to their female counterparts.

That you want to do skin whitening is fine; it's totally your choice. No one can take that away from you. I would also defend your right to do what you want to your body. However, your attempts at it's justification on social science constructs are, in my view, fundamentally flawed.

[your boyfriend mode] Honey, So you don't feel confident and don't feel good because you are not light enough? Ok,so lightening your skin will make you confident and feel good? Good Point! Teach our kids that too in the future - they need to be lighter to be confident and feel great.

why is that it's a big deal asking where to buy whitening creams? if youre not using it,then just shut up! if you dont wanna use it then just keep quite...in the first place, surely half.K didnt need your opinion if whitening cream is good to use or not.she's just asking where to get whitening product.just as simple as that.
lets not act like we knows everything.her question is not harmful.and surely she didnt need any criticisms... to all the people who dont need to product to add their confidence, then good for you. but for those people that wanna look more good, then go for it.do whatever makes you happy.anyway,it's your life.dont listen to what people think,as long as you didnt disturb them and you didnt cost trouble to anybody.

Your previous comments were pathetic. This is a PUBLIC forum, people are free to offer comment & advice, asked for or not. Especially when it is to do with health, both physical & mental as most on here don't want to see others doing something that may endanger life, which some of the chemicals mentiod do. PROVEN BY SCIENCE.

So you SHUT UP unless you have something intelligent to say.

thats arrogant and selfish. Don't listen to what people think? If you don't listen to what people think?why are you listening to an advert to make you beautiful then .hmmm? You are influenced and brainwashed by that.I do not wish her to be harmed by a product and end up with cancer. As I know from experience what that is.
