Thank you all very much for your kind wishes.
I don't know the words to express how I feel right now, in my heart I am sure the visa is there, my head tells me to wait till tomorrow before getting into celebration mood.
What an afternoon !!!!
I was at work and my 2 pm visa status check was due ( I having been checking more or less every hour each day for the past week or so). I opened the site and entered the reference number, expecting the usual statement "your visa application has been forwarded to ..........." when the page opened I first realised there was more text than usual, I did not read the statement fully, seeing the words "ready for collection" I jumped off my chair (don't know what the boss thought) and phoned vanessa to tell her to go and collect her visa, we chatted for a short while, Vanessa was in tears, happy tears. when we ended the call I felt smothered, trapped, I wanted to shout and run around like a child, but I was at work and had to contain myself. Its such a relief to know the process is complete and that we will know the outcome tomorrow. There is a feeling of joy welling over me now punctuated with nervousness.
My wife is coming home Wwwwwwwoooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I do not apologise for shouting, I am so happy.
