I understand how you feel..I think it's ok for him to go out with the boys once in awhile. But if it's taking too much, you both need to sit down and talk about it.

I'm just lucky that me and my bf had lots of it years ago and we can say, BTDT to it and now, we are just concentrating on building a good future for our new lives as couples and for our kids later on.

It feels bad if he leaves because even if he is just going out for a couple of hours, you will miss him as if he'll be away for days!

I told my hubby that he can go out with his friends but as long he comes back on the agreed time and won't get too drunk but he never listen. We just always ended up :xxsport-smiley-002:.

Same here Ann, when we were singles,we're both party people but now we have family and everything has changed. My husband told me too that he had enough to those bad habbits he had before and I feel the same. we just always want to spend most of our time with family specially when our kids are still young we've got always a handful of jobs:icon_lol:

Im like your hubby I may go out but be there and done it and dont think its right to leave the other stuck at home while im out partying hard. I have work commitments like today where free drink is there but an adult should know when to say no ta surely?

Never felt the urge to drink to excess since the missus is here, if you cant stop after a few drinks you have a problem so go see a doctor.

Hi all!

Im fine if my husband goes out with his mates, although its not a regular thing, I know he needs some time out...same with me, he lets me go to parties while he looks after our boys. We take turns and we both are home by 12mn anyway. Most of the time we just stay home and watch a film. But lately his mates pop around instead on weekends to unwind, they drink beer while playing xbox live which I sometimes have a good laugh specially when they are losing :P

But if it bothers you and he does it excessively, have a talk then.
