Do the men on here (who are not religious) have to give up meat for Good Friday as per the wishes of their Filipino wives?

Just thought as I have a steak cooking at the minute, this could become a rare moment for me on Good Friday in the future... :cwm3:

I think Chicken is still upsetting to Catholic Bishops. Although bizarrely Duck was deemed a fish back in the middle ages by Bishops.

Clearly they had a grasp on biology beyond most other people:D

hmm, yes no meat in this house today :-( Church every Sunday and supposidly gave up some vices for fasting.... Having not been to church in a while, the first time I went with Marvie I thought I was going to burn up in flames...
My ear is red from being pulled.

(P.S, I did managed to sneak some ham from the fridge !! :-) shhhh)
