This great little movie was made late 80s/1990, just about the time I made my first trip to the Phils, and actually does (in a comical way) represent what dating a Filipina was all about pre-proper internet/webcam etc.
Made on location in Manila (the Ermita girly bar was 'Mistys'...don't ask me how I know. :D ).

It is on youtube now, split into separate parts.

Considering the usual load of tosh that's on telly over the hols, sit back and enjoy.

Well, I have been in a lot of movies over the years, including one or two in Manila, but sadly not that one. I think the filming was before I arrived there, but they were there for 3 months apparently.

My friend did happen to be the manager of that bar though. :)

I have sent the link to my girlfriend, and asked her to suggest which guy on there I most resemble.
I just hope she doesn't say Charlie Drake. :icon_lol:
